Crossbow Archery

Crossbow shooting is a cherished Swiss tradition, offering both a physical and mental challenge for participants of all ages.

Unlike rifles or pistols, crossbow archery provides an excellent introduction to shooting sports without the usual drawbacks—no costly ammunition, no need for ear protection (yes, we can even shoot on Sundays!), and one of the safest ways to enjoy the sport.

We train once a week, either individually or in groups. Our club welcomes all skill levels, with divisions for youth (11+ years), elite (23+ years), and seniors (55+ years).

Tellenschiessen (William Tell Tournament)

Join us on August 1st for our annual public celebration of Swiss National Day with the traditional Tellenschiessen!

Step into the legend of William Tell and try your hand at shooting a crossbow at an apple target. Whether young or old, anyone aged 11 and up is welcome to participate!

Enjoy lunch, drinks, coffee, and cake either outdoors or in the cozy atmosphere of our Schützenstube.

Registration is open from 09:00 to 13:00 at our club on August 1st, for a small participation fee. Winners will be announced around 13:30.

We’ll always have at least one English-speaking instructor on hand to help.
